About William Smalley

SCI was founded by William H. Smalley, BA, MBA, CSP who is an award winning sales and marketing professional with over 25 years experience in business planning, business and consumer marketing, and domestic and international sales.

He has also taught marketing and professional selling at the college level and is an experienced seminar leader and accredited trainer with the Canadian Professional Sales Association.

His corporate experience includes management positions in the building materials, media, marketing, and telecom industries where his main focus was new product and market development.  

As a consultant and contract executive he has managed exclusive marketing licenses with Earth Day Canada, The Canadian Football League, and the Canadian Olympic Committee, and has worked with Air Canada, McDonald's, Ford, Sunquest, Coors (Molson), Bell Canada, The Toronto Rock Lacrosse Club, Konica Minolta, and Investors Group.. His business development experience includes international work in the Saudi Arabian, Caribbean, and Taiwan markets.

Bill is a member of the Canadian Professional Sales Association, the American Marketing Association, and the Strategic Leadership Forum, and has served on the Marketing Advisory Committees of Humber College, The Canadian Outward Bound Wilderness School, and Theatre Ontario. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Western Ontario, an Executive MBA from the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto, and the Certified Sales Professional (CSP) rating with distinction from the CPSA.

About Bill Sayers

Bill Sayers has spent the past 27 years in the "Sales" arena. He started his career as an inside sales rep and worked his way up the corporate ladder to the level of VP of Sales at an IBM company. During that time he worked for Revelstoke Lumber, King Products, Linotype, Ryder Transportation, GE Capital IT Solutions and IBM.

Bill speaks, coaches, leads education sessions and provides management consulting services to a variety of companies from start-ups to some of Canada's largest organizations. Having worked for some of the top organizations in the world, Bill has many experiences and lessons to draw from. His goal is to help corporate sales people to earn more money and to help companies increase their revenue in a profitable way.

Bill has been praised for his leadership, common-sense approach and ability to inspire sales people to new levels of success. His easy manner and strong public-speaking skills make him an engaging facilitator. About Kenneth D. Blogg

Ken is an experienced coach and facilitator with over 30 years experience in the education and the not-for-profit sector. After earning a Masters Degree in Education Foundations, Ken pursued a career as a teacher, principal and staff developer in Toronto, Ottawa and Moscow. He recently left that field to join Smalley & Company Inc. as Senior Consultant, Leadership and Communications. As a certified trainer and coach in many proven programs including Dennis Kinlaw's Coaching for Commitment and the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, Ken is in demand as a coach who gets results. His ability to make participants feel at ease as they reach a higher level of performance accounts for his outstanding success.

Ken is an active community member and sits on the Board of Directors of the Education Foundation of Ottawa and the Fundraising Committee of Parkinson Society Ottawa. He is married with two children. He is an ardent hiker, skier and photographer.
